Svensk Distanshandel (SDh) is the Swedish eCommerce organisation with more than 500 companies listed as members – primarily in the B2C sector. Smaller start-ups as well as big industry leaders are among these members, and with 100+ business partners SDh is supporting the rapid growth of the Swedish eCommerce and makes sure a serious and customer friendly development is maintained. SDh furthermore lobbies in order to affect the Swedish eCommerce to stay on top of the latest international trends and developments.
BITKOM is the voice of the information technology, telecommunications and new media industry in Germany. BITKOM represents more than 1,700 companies, of which 1,100 are direct members. They include nearly all global players as well as more than 1,000 powerful small and medium-sized enterprises and a lot of founder-managed creative companies. BITKOM’s members generate an annual sales volume of 135 billion Euros in total, exporting high-tech goods and services worth 50 billion Euros per year.
The Data Warehousing Institute provides education, training, certification, news and research for executives and information technology (IT) professionals worldwide. Founded in 1995, TDWI is the premier educational institute for business intelligence and data warehousing.
The German-speaking SAP User Group: Deutschsprachige SAP-Anwendergruppe e.V. (DSAG) in Walldorf is the independent lobby for users in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The umbrella organisation, which was founded on 25th June 1997 as a registered association, has established itself as the largest SAP user group worldwide.
The German E-Commerce and Distance Selling Trade Association (bvh) was established in 1947 with the aim of a) representing the interests of its members with regard to legal legislation and institutional bodies and of b) providing information and counselling, and creating the structures necessary for a dialogue amongst its members. Currently it has around 300 members—large and small distance selling companies using the sales channels catalogue, internet, direct sales and TV.
